Match Play 21 game is played with 6 decks of 48 cards (no 10’s). Player 21 always wins. Players are allowed to surrender half of total bet after they Double down and this is called the “double down rescue”. 5 card hand of 21 pays 3 to 2; 6 card hand of 21 pays 2 to 1; a 7 or more card hand of 21 pays 3 to 1. A hand of 6-7-8 or 7-7-7 unsuited pay 3 to 2, suited – 2 to 1; suited spades – 3 to 1. Suited 7-7-7 against dealer face-up 7 pays $1000 for all bets from $5 - $24; and $5000 for bets of $25 or more. Moreover, all other players receive the “envy bonus” of $50.
