Blackjack Dealer Arrested At Tri-State

This is one more care to prove the fact that cheating at casinos can never lead to anything good. Another Blackjack dealer together with one player got arrested this week.

Two people were arrested at the Tri-State Racetrack and Gaming center after they found the blackjack dealer cheating.

According to the report at the Kanawha Magistrate Court, the video surveillance cameras caught the dealer, 26, Derek Maple, cheating with his partner Nguyen Thuhuong, 41, by revealing his hole card. The partner could then wager correspondingly.

The accused dealer told the troopers that he had no idea he flashed the cards and that players were able to see them.

When the accused dealer and player were transported to the South Central Regional Jail, the police searched them and found a pill of Lortab and a snorting device in Maple's pockets.

Both Thuhuong and Maple were charged with cheating at the casino and Maple was also charged with possession of Lortab.

However, they were both released from South Central Regional Jail last Sunday.
