Colorado Gambling On Rise

Colorado casinos experience a rise in gambling income in 16% during the last month.

The first thing you may notice as soon as you happen to be there is the fact that the max bets have risen from $5 to $100. Another change was adding craps and roulette tables to already existing slots and blackjack and the fact the casinos are now open all around the clock.

According to the recent information from the Colorado Division of Gaming, the casinos have reported $76.1 million total bets without the payouts. This result could only be compared to $76.5 million in July 2007.

Black Hawk casinos have also reported a great increase in income up to 19% ($54.4 million) in July.

The results in the Cripple Creek casinos were $15.1 million and the ones of the Central City - $6.6 million
