Theft in California Casino by Blackjack Dealers

Two suspects in the theft of $500 casino chips, Ge Vang of Fresno, CA and Sourivanh Henemoutnry of Porterville were filmed on the casino cameras when they were misappropriating the 500 dollars chips. These two persons were blackjack dealers at Tachi Palace Casino in Lemoore, California. The dealers became prime suspects after the security of the casino they worked at noticed that the pair was demonstrating in a strange way blackjack basic strategy. The casino workers decided to review the videotape, and as a result, discovered that one blackjack dealer put chips in one of his pockets after he had received them from the second blackjack dealer. As a result, the first dealer was discovered to have 2,500 dollars in chips in his pockets.

One of the suspects confessed that he did steal the chips. He also added that there were some cases when he had stolen $1,500 casino chips. In general, the blackjack dealers confessed that they had stolen more than $5,000 in casino chips. Moreover, they asked their relatives and friends to cash the chips, since the dealers can`t cash casino chips. These two dealers were arrested and are being charged now.
